Premise

Today, we live in a world where Billion-dollar tech companies run our lives. Instead of an online profile become an alternate personality that you escape into, your online personality has become something that is an extension of who you are. The characters of Watch Dogs Legion feel this struggle and story revolves around a rebellion against the people who are trying to control. You see a lot of these alternate personalities in the real world. You see the characters wear masks to represent the things that they stand for. This is a great way of setting the game apart from GTA or Saints Row.

Gamplay

Hacking has been one of the main staples of the game since the conception of the series. Hacking means that you'll be able to use other people's technology in order to get what you want. There are many things that you can use this for when you're just out and about. This gives the player a lot of options rather than just intimidating others. Hacking is a great option for stealth as it gives you what you want without the chance to be discovered. The options can be quite overwhelming, but this is something that will let fans appreciate the game.

One of the unique things that you can do in this game is recruit almost any NPC to work with you. Some NPCs in Watch Dogs Legion are going to have certain skills that make them more relevant than other NPCs that you may want to play as. They often vary a lot in appearance, age and skills and give the player a lot of options on how they want to go about things. Some NPCs have relationships with other NPCs which makes planning out missions something you have to really consider. Some characters may be bad with hacking but have great vehicles for making getaways.

There is the enforcer, the most standard kind of character that you would play in a sandbox game like this. The enforcer is really good at using guns and can also lay traps for enemies. There is the hacker, who will probably be the majority of people that you can play as in the game. The hackers in Watch Dogs Legion are able to take control of machines and steal data from a distance. Lastly, there is the infiltrator, who is good at taking a stealthy approach to missions and uses melee attacks. All of these classes have skill trees so that you can upgrade you own path.

The people that you take control of have certain jobs, and taking control of that will let you get access of what you want. For example, a beekeeper may have security details to get access of a lot honey or the tools that beekeepers use. Taking control of doctor would allow the player to access the data that a hospital owns. In Watch Dogs 3, there are real consequences for not being good enough for certain missions. If the enemies have you cornered and you're likely to die, your teammates have to come rescue you. This makes you useless for the rest of the mission. The other option is to just fight it out and you and die for real.
